We love the park and all it has to offer our community. ![]() When my daughter and I went to visit The Twin Silo Park she said…”Why didn’t we have this when I was a kid?” If it had been, I can guarantee that we would of been there often to play. The BMX Course has been designed by the same designer that created the BMX Track in the Rio Olympics. To complete the over all design of the park it includes a playing area with two full Soccer Fields, Community Gardens, Pickle Ball courts, and a Dog Park. There is even a long walk way with a section for growing hops which is so Fort Collins. This area can be reserved through the parks department for private events. The park developers also reached into the feature of farming with a hydro planting area that surrounds a picnic area. The theme…modern farm…has incorporated experiences of farming, growing gardens, an orchard, sitting on the porch, playing in a barn, playing in a creek….The intent of the design is to pay homage to the rich farming heritage of Fort Collins. The modern day barn design sits directly next to the Silo’s where kids can challenge themselves with interactive games and a narrow 13 feet high suspension Bridge. The Silo’s have been turned into climbing areas and slides that connect the 2 Silo’s…they are super cool. The Twin Silo’s are actual Silo’s that were re-established and renovated then placed into the park to create the emphasis of the farming theme. The Twin Silo Park is a modern day twist on elements that one would find on a farm. The City of Fort Collins is committed to developing parks with Themes to encourage our youth and young at heart to get outside and play. It is obvious that an incredible amount of thought and creativity went into the development of this park. The entire park consist of 54 acres and is exceptionally designed.
